Font Experimentation

In order to select the appropriate font for my music video, I first had to research into different types of font and experiment with them. Above is my finished font experimentation. The theme throughout my font experimentation was a chunky, stencil font similar to that used in the original logo for The Stone Roses. However, I did not want exactly the same font as I wanted to put my own personal spin on the video. 

From the fonts I experimented with, I have several possible choices for my video. I particularly like Warton as it is a very bold font and stands out, capturing the attention of the viewer. 84 Rock is another font that I quite like as it gives a shabby yet dark look which could apply to the meaning of my video. 

I will decide on the final font when it comes to designing my Digipak. A further idea I had was using two different fonts if I can't decide on one font or if it would appeal more using two different fonts; one for the title of the band and one for the title of the song.
